- To give you a general outline of who we are - here goes.... I'm Pat (Reeve) and I make all the fish and animal beads. Kim (Brown) is my husband and he makes all the beads. We've been married for around 20 years through several phases.... We met at one of my sculpture shows and discovered that we made similar sculpture - figural high-fire clay - with a weird sense of humor. Then we found that we owned the same books. The rest is history. I've always loved animals and started making, drawing and painting them when I was a kid. Kim has always done his own thing - like colouring his sheep green. You get the idea. From all this, we balance out quite well - IMHO. We influence each others' work and it keeps us going. We live in Comox, BC. and out of our window we see ocean, mountains, eagles and LOTS of rain all winter. Well that's the quick overview. Except to add that I've recently quit working in the real world and we now devote our time to each other and our beads. We've really only just begun to do this enterprise seriously. So stay tuned - the future looks exciting.
